The unit (24) is arranged on an object (10) to be subjected to temperature control, this object being in particular part of the interior equipment of a vehicle. The temperature sensor (32) is at least partially embedded in or surrounded by a temperature compensation zone (36) which is formed by or has a thermally conductive material which, in addition, mechanically secures and positions the temperature sensor (32).
