An absorbent layer (106) is placed on the film, and an upper part (102) is pierced with through-holes (110) and forms a basin that is placed and stuck in the lower part above the absorbent layer. The lower part and the upper part are made of vegetable fibers that comprise sugarcane bagasse. The film is made of oxo-biodegradable polyethylene. The absorbent layer is arranged between the upper part and the lower part and absorbs exudates coming from food substances. The absorbent layer is biodegradable and made of cellulose. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a small tray.
