The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition comprising: - an extract of Ajuga reptans comprising an amount of phenylpropanoids from 30% to 70% by weight with respect to the weight of the extract, wherein said amount of phenylpropanoids comprises an amount from 10 to 50% of teupolioside with respect to the total phenylpropanoid weight, and - an extract of Epilobium comprising an amount from 20 to 50% by weight of polyphenols with respect to the weight of the extract, wherein said amount of polyphenols comprises up to 3% by weight of oenothein B with respect to the total amount of polyphenols. Also described is the pharmaceutical composition of the invention for use in the treatment of prostatic diseases, in particular the benign prostatic hyperplasia.La presente invención se refiere a una composición farmacéutica que comprende: - un extracto de Ajuga reptans que comprende una cantidad de fenilpropanoides desde 30% hasta 70% en peso con respecto al peso del extracto, en donde tal cantidad de fenilpropanoides comprende una cantidad desde 10 hasta 50% de teupoliósido con respecto al peso total de fenilpropanoide, y - un extracto de Epilobium que comprende una cantidad desde 20 hasta 50% en peso de polifenoles con respecto al peso del extracto, en donde tal cantidad de polifenoles comprende hasta 3% en peso de oenoteína B con respecto a la cantidad total de polifenoles. También se describe la composición farmacéutica de la invención para uso en el tratamiento de enfermedades prostáticas, en particular la hiperplasia prostática benigna.
