The present invention aims to provide a composition for preventing or improving pigmentation that can effectively prevent or improve pigmentation. Used as such a composition for preventing or improving pigmentation is a composition comprising a combination of at least one member (A) selected from the group consisting of adenosine 5'-monophosphates and salts thereof； and at least one member (B) selected from the group consisting of arbutins, ellagic acid, 4-alkylresorcinols, linolic acid, tranexamic acid, salts thereof, chamomile extracts, and ubiquinones.본 발명의 목적은 색소 침착의 예방 또는 개선 작용을 보다 효과적으로 발휘할 수 있는 색소 침착 예방 또는 개선용 조성물을 제공하는 것이다.
