The present invention aims to provide a compositionfor preventing or improving pigmentation that can effectivelyprevent or improve pigmentation. Used as such a compositionfor preventing or improving pigmentation is a compositioncomprising a combination of at least one member (A) selectedfrom the group consisting of adenosine 5'-monophosphates andsalts thereof； and at least one member (B) selected from thegroup consisting of arbutins, ellagic acid,4--alkylresorcinols, linolic acid, tranexamic acid, saltsthereof, chamomile extracts, and ubiquinones.
