PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which is less likely to cause graze between a leakage prevention cuff and a skin of a wearer and has an excellent wearing feeling.SOLUTION: A surface sheet 2 of an absorbent article 10 comprises a non-woven fabric 1 of an uneven structure in which a projecting strip part 13 and a recessed strip part 14 of a streaky shape that extend in a longitudinal direction X are arranged alternately in a width direction Y. The surface sheet 2 is joined to a lower side sheet 6 adjacent to the surface sheet 2 at the recessed strip part 14. The projecting strip part 13 has a hollow structure between the non-woven fabric 1 and the lower side sheet 6. The absorbent article 10 has a leakage prevention cuff 8.
