PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a granular material feeder capable of preventing loaded granular materials such as fertilizers or chemicals from becoming lumps with moisture resulting in defective feeding by monitoring the humidity within a hopper of the granular material feeder and dehumidifying the inside of the hopper when the humidity exceeds a preset humidity.SOLUTION: In an application machine for applying a granular agent stored in the hopper 1 while feeding out the granular agent by the rotation of a feed roll 2, a hopper lid 4 for opening/closing a hopper opening 3 and a humidity sensor 5 for detecting the humidity within the hopper 1 are mounted, and the inside of the hopper 1 is dehumidified by opening/closing the hopper lid 4 based on the humidity detected by the humidity sensor 5. The application machine also includes a dehumidifying fan 6 for dehumidifying the inside of the hopper 1 by discharging air from the hopper 1, and the humidity sensor 5 for detecting the humidity within the hopper 1.
