PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a functional mat capable of inhibiting functional materials from being exposed to the outside in the functional mat including the functional materials such as a moisture absorbent and an activated carbon, and a manufacturing method for the mat.SOLUTION: A dehumidification mat 11 is formed by superposing mat bodies 12 and 13 composed of a nonwoven fabric, clamping granular silica gels 16 (functional materials) between superposed portions, and mechanically intertwining an end of a web pulled out from one mat body with a web of the other mat body.
