PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique regarding preservative treatment in processes until producing collagen solution or collagen dispersion.SOLUTION: A method for producing collagen in which a process of executing treatment or operation in aqueous solvent in processes until collagen solution or collagen dispersion is prepared from a biological material is performed under the presence of antiseptic agent.
