PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a puncture needle from buckling when puncturing the puncture needle in an object such as living body.SOLUTION: A buckling prevention structure includes a puncture needle 4 to be stabbed into an object 3, a transfer 5 to intermittently move the puncture needle 4 in a puncture direction, and support means 6 for supporting the puncture needle 4 just above the object 3 when puncturing. With teeth 22 of a rack piece 18 of the transfer 5 and teeth 13 of the puncture needle 4 engaged each other, the rack piece 18 is pressed down in the puncture direction to move the puncture needle 4 by one pitch of the teeth in the puncture direction. This movement is repeated to intermittently move the puncture needle 4. In each intermittent movement, a distant L between a ratchet piece 23 of the support means 6 and the rack piece 18 before movement is arranged such that the puncture needle 4 does not buckle. In addition, the ratchet piece 23 is disposed just above the object 3.
