The present invention relates to a composition comprising a Cynanchum atratum Bunge extract as an active ingredient for preventing, alleviating, or treating Th1-mediated immune diseases or Th2-mediated immune diseases. According to the present invention, the Cynanchum atratum Bunge extract has activities of preventing allergen from passing through intestinal epithelial cells, inhibiting production of IL-4, inhibiting degranulation of mast cells, inducing differentiation into Treg cells, and stabilizing Treg cells, thereby preventing, alleviating, or treating Th1-mediated immune diseases or Th2-mediated immune diseases.본 발명은 백미(Cynanchym atratum Bunge) 추출물을 유효성분으로 포함하는 Th1-매개 면역 질환 또는 Th2-매개 면역 질환의 예방, 개선 또는 치료용 조성물에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따르면, 백미 추출물은 알레르겐의 장상피세포 통과, IL-4 생성 억제, 비만세포의 탈과립 억제, Treg 세포로의 분화 유도 및 Treg 세포 안정화 활성을 가지므로 Th1-매개 면역 질환 또는 Th2-매개 면역 질환을 예방, 개선 또는 치료할 수 있다.
