[Problem] When a direct bathing is carried out, to have an exterior appearance similar to a household bathtub and to allow seating from one end part side and from another end part side of the bathtub in the longitudinal direction. [Solution] Provided is a bathing device which allows both conveyance bathing and direct bathing, comprising: a bathtub (2) which is formed in a rectangular shape in plan view, further comprising a first sitting part in one end part in the longitudinal direction thereof in which a bather who carries out direct bathing is capable of sitting； and a movement mechanism (6) which is disposed on another end part of the bathtub (2) in the longitudinal direction for moving, into the bathtub (2) together with the first sitting part, a bather who carries out a conveyance bathing. When the direct bathing is carried out, a second sitting part is formed on the another end part of the bathtub in which a bather who carries out direct bathing is capable of sitting, and the movement mechanism is covered with the second sitting part.
