An industrially fabricated cone shaped waffle (10) is disclosed. The waffle comprises a first side whose surface area is increased by a technical pattern in order to assure a defined adhesion at a baking plate (100) during a production process and to provide engagement surfaces for a receiving tool (120), in particular with a pattern made from bars or grooves (205, 206) that are respectively arranged parallel to each other, and a second side whose surface area is smaller than a surface area of the first side. The second side that is free from the technical pattern is provided with a design pattern, such as a logo or other indicia. A baking mold for producing an industrially fabricated waffle blade (118) which is formable into an industrially fabricated cone shaped waffle (10) is also disclosed.
