PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide selection methods of microorganisms which recognize compounds having a guaiacol structure such as ferulic acid which is present also in animal and plant living bodies, and/or compounds having a 4-methoxyphenol structure and which promote proliferation, and to provide compositions which contain a compound having a guaiacol structure having the growth-promoting activity of pro-biotic lactic acid bacteria and/or compounds having a 4-methoxyphenol structure.SOLUTION: The present inventors developed eagerly a selection method of a microorganism which recognizes compounds having a guaiacol structure and/or compounds having a 4-methoxyphenol structure and which promote proliferation, and thereby found a microorganism which recognizes compounds having a guaiacol structure such as ferulic acid and/or compounds having a 4-methoxyphenol structure and which promotes proliferation, to solve the aforementioned problem.SELECTED DRAWING: NoneCOPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT【課題】本発明は、動物・植物生体内にも存在するフェルラ酸等のグアイアコール骨格を有する化合物および/または4-メトキシフェノール骨格を有する化合物を認識し増殖促進する微生物の選抜方法およびプロバイオティック乳酸菌の増殖促進作用を有するグアイアコール骨格を有する化合物および/または4-メトキシフェノール骨格を有する化合物を含む含有組成物を提供することを課題とする。【解決手段】本発明は、グアイアコール骨格を有する化合物および/または4-メトキシフェノール骨格を有する化合物を認識し増殖促進する微生物の選抜方法を鋭意開発したことにより見出し、これにより、フェルラ酸等のグアイアコール骨格を有する化合物および/または4-メトキシフェノール骨格を有する化合物を認識し増殖促進する微生物を見出したことによって上記課題を解決した。【選択図】なし
