PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulse wave detection device capable of improving pulse wave detection accuracy, and a biological information measuring apparatus including the pulse wave detection device.SOLUTION: A pulse wave detection part includes: a sensor part 6 in which two element rows 60 and 70 each composed of a plurality of pressure sensing elements aligned in a direction B are aligned in a direction A orthogonal to the direction B and an air bag for pressing the sensor part 6 onto a body surface in a state where the direction B crosses with an extending direction of a radial artery under the body surface of a living body.
