An apparatus for cutting human or animal tissue, such as a cornea, or a lens, said apparatus including a treatment device for producing a pattern of at least two points of impact in a plane focusing from a LASER beam generated by a femtosecond laser (1), the treatment device being disposed downstream of said femtosecond laser, characterized in that the processing device comprises a focusing optical system (5) for focusing the beam L.A.S.E.R. in a cutting plane, and a control unit (6) able to control the displacement of the optical focusing system along an optical path of the beam L.A.S.E.R. for moving the plane of focus into at least three respective cutting planes so as to form a stack of cutting surfaces of the fabric.L'invention concerne un appareil de découpe d'un tissu humain ou animal, telle qu'une cornée, ou un cristallin, ledit appareil incluant un dispositif de traitement pour produire un motif composé d'au moins deux points d'impact dans un plan de focalisation à partir d'un faisceau L.A.S.E.R. généré par un laser femtoseconde (1), le dispositif de traitement étant disposé en aval dudit laser femtoseconde, remarquable en ce que le dispositif de traitement comprend un système optique de focalisation (5) pour focaliser le faisceau L.A.S.E.R. dans un plan de découpe, et une unité de commande (6) apte à piloter le déplacement du système optique de focalisation le long d'un chemin optique du faisceau L.A.S.E.R. pour déplacer le plan de focalisation en au moins trois plans de découpe respectifs de sorte à former un empilement de surfaces de découpe du tissu.
