Intravascular sensor feeders can have sensors that are used to measure a patient's physiological parameters, such as blood pressure, within a blood vessel or passage. In some embodiments, the device may also be used in combination with a medical guidewire that holds another sensor configured to measure a patient's physiological parameters, such as blood pressure. The data generated from the intravascular sensor feeder sensor and the guidewire sensor may be used to determine characteristics of the region of interest of the blood vessel for research studies.
