A potential setting section outputs potentials higher than a common electrode potential V COM and potentials lower than V COM from respective potential output terminals D 1 to D n alternately in order of arrangement of the potential output terminals. Further, potential output higher than V COM and potential output lower than V COM are switched per selection period. A switch section switches, per selection period, between output terminals O k and O k+1 to either of which an input terminal I k is to be connected.
