The present invention is a spray burn dressing group for use in the treatment of various tissue burns such as heat, chemicals or burns due to sun exposure. The sprayable dressing of the present invention comprises a film-forming polymer and metal or metal oxide particles. The metal or metal oxide, preferably aluminum oxide, acts as a thermally conductive component to enhance heat dissipation from burns. Sprayable dressings may also contain antibacterial agents, anesthetics, analgesics, or preservatives.
