PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dermatological formulation for external use which shows good storage stability at a pH in the range of from 2 to below 7 and has bactericidal power and covering power.SOLUTION: A dermatological formulation for external use containing (C) isopropylmethylphenol as a bactericide is formulated with (A) a metal oxide to enhance its ability to cover a lesion (e.g., a discolored area on the skin), and further with (B) a sucrose fatty acid ester of a monoester content of 55-100 mass% to stably disperse the metal oxide in the formulation at a pH of from 2 to below 7 and to enhance the storage stability of the formulation.COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT【課題】pH2以上7未満の範囲で組成物の保存安定性が良好で、殺菌力及び被覆力を有する皮膚外用剤の提供。【解決手段】殺菌剤である(C)イソプロピルメチルフェノールを含有するpH2以上7未満である皮膚外用剤組成物に、(A)金属酸化物を配合することにより、患部(皮膚変色部等)の被覆力を高め、さらに、(B)モノエステル体の割合が55~100質量%であるショ糖脂肪酸エステルを配合することで、pH2以上7未満で、金属酸化物を安定に組成物中に分散させ、組成物の保存安定性を向上させることができた。【選択図】なし
