PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique related to a substance-encapsulated calcium carbonate material which is obtained by efficiently encapsulating protein, a peptide or a low molecular weight substance in calcium carbonate while reducing the loss of the substance to be encapsulated so that the encapsulated substance such as the encapsulated protein is not easily released to the outside unless a calcium carbonate part is dissolved or broken.SOLUTION: A method for producing a substance-encapsulated calcium carbonate particle includes steps of: immersing a calcium carbonate particle which is mainly composed of a metastable phase selected from the group comprising a vaterite phase and an aragonite phase, in a solution of the substance adsorbable on the calcium carbonate particle and transforming the metastable phase of the calcium carbonate particle into a calcite phase.COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT【課題】炭酸カルシウム内へ、蛋白質やペプチド、低分子物質を、損失量が少なく効率よく内包させ、かつ内包された蛋白質などの物質が、炭酸カルシウム部が溶解や破壊等を起こさない限り、容易には外部へと放出されないような、物質内包の炭酸カルシウム材料に関する技術を提供する。【解決手段】バテライト相およびアラゴナイト相からなる群から選ばれる準安定相を主成分とする炭酸カルシウム粒子を、前記炭酸カルシウム粒子に吸着され得る物質の溶液に浸漬して、炭酸カルシウム粒子の準安定相をカルサイト相に変化させることを特徴とする、物質を内包した炭酸カルシウム粒子の製造方法。【選択図】図1
