The invention relates to a hole stabilizer used together with a perforator for providing and maintaining an opening through a patients skin surface thereby providing short or long-term external access to the patients trachea or bloodstream. A hole stabilizer according to the present invention constitutes a passageway for fluid having a part formed as a tube having a first end positioned at an outer available position during use and a second end positioned at an inner non-available position during use and comprising fixing elements (15) at two separated positions placed with the distance M between them in a use position.
