The present invention relates to a solid pharmaceutical composition containing candesartan cilexetil as active ingredient and a stabilizing agent selected from the group consisting of esters of saturated fatty acids and monohydroxy alcohols, esters of hydroxycarboxylic acids and monohydroxy alcohols, ethers of C1-C4 monohydroxy alcohols and C2-C9 polyhydroxy alcohols, saturated fatty acid alkaline salts, panthenol, and/or mixtures thereof. The invention also relates to a process for its preparation and its use for formulation of oral solid dosage forms of candesartan cilexetil. The active substance in the compositions comprising the stabilizing agent exhibits good stability over time.Linvention concerne une composition pharmaceutique solide contenant du candésartan cilexetil comme principe actif et un agent stabilisant choisi dans le groupe constitué par des esters dacides gras saturés et dalcools monohydroxy, des esters dacides hydroxycarboxyliques et dalcools monohydroxy, des éthers dalcools monohydrodxy C1-C4 et dalcools polyhydroxy C2-C9, des sels alcalins dacides gras saturés, du panthénol et/ou des mélanges de ceux-ci. Linvention concerne également un procédé de préparation et dutilisation de formes dosifiées solides orales de candésartan cilexetil. Le principe actif des compositions contenant cet agent stabilisant présente une bonne stabilité dans le temps.
