PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skin care preparation suitable for a cosmetic (provided that quasi drugs are included) or the like, for detail, a skin care preparation having whitening effects, particularly preventive or improving effects against pigmentation due to exposure to ultraviolet rays.SOLUTION: This skin care preparation includes (1) a compound expressed by general formula: A-B and/or pharmacologically permissible salt thereof and (2) an anti-inflammatory ingredient. In formula, A represents a di- or tri-aromatic methyl group selected each independently from the group consisting of a substituted or non-substituted aromatic group and/or substituted or non-substituted heteroaromatic group and B represents a hydrogen atom or a cyclic or acyclic aliphatic or aromatic hydrocarbon group where the bonding site to A is a heteroatom, and a hydrogen atom or a carbon atom therein may be substituted by a heteroatom. Also the cyclic aliphatic or aromatic ring includes the ring formed by including the heteroatom at the bonding site of A and B.
