Disclosed is an apixaban liquid formulation in which the stability and solubility of apixaban is improved. Also provided is a method of administering an apixaban liquid formulation. The liquid formulation may comprise apixaban, a vehicle which is water, and at least two solubilizers such as non-ionic surfactant, an ionic surfactant, a hydrophilic polymer, ethanol, a polyhydric alcohol, a polyethylene glycol, and a carbohydrate.
