PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope guide tube device capable of stably retaining the shape by passively changing the shape according to the change of the shape of an insertion part of an endoscope, capable of being easily narrowed to be easily inserted into a mouth together with the insertion part of the endoscope, and capable of being smoothly moved and easily used.
SOLUTION: A bending part 3 disposed in a flexible insertion tube 1 can passively change the shape in response to the change of the shape of the insertion part of the endoscope inserted into the flexible insertion tube 1. An operating part 2 disposed on the proximal end side of the flexible insertion tube 1 does not have an operating means for pushing/pulling at least three bending shape retaining wires 15. A wire locking mechanism which can fix or release the proximal ends of all the bending shape retaining wires 15 together has a wire receiving face 28 for individually receiving the proximal ends of the respective bending shape retaining wires 15 parallel to one another in such a way that the proximal ends of the bending shape retaining wires 15 can slide straight.
