PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary apparatus for fitting an instrument for preventing bird damage, capable of efficiently fitting aerial electric wires with the instrument for preventing bird damage including a band-like base deformable from a flat state to a cylindrical shape so as to encircle the electric wires and many needles projected on the surface of the base.SOLUTION: The auxiliary apparatus for fitting an instrument for preventing bird damage includes a guide member 10 disposed on top of aerial electric wires 1 rectangularly thereto and functioning to guide the suspended instrument 100 for preventing bird damage along the electric wires 1, the main body 20 holding the guide member 10, and a support member 30 attached to the main body 20 and supported on the electric wires 1.
