To provide an electric brush device hard to nip the hair in the use.
SOLUTION: The electric brush device 1 includes a brush part 3 having a base 16 formed of a flexible material and a plurality of projections 17 protrusively and provided crosswise ON the face of the base 16, a frame body 14 for settably/removably holding the periphery of the base 16 and a body 2 having a reciprocating drive means 8 for bending the base 16 in a direction crossing the face. The projections 17 are formed into a plurality of rows of rings around the center X of the base 16. The projections 17 belonging to the projection row adjoining with each other are exclusively provided ON virtual radii R1 and R2 and R3 extending from the center X of the base 16. Thereby even when the brush part 3 is pushed to the head skin S or the like to bend the projections 17, the projections 17 are hardly brought into contact with one another to hardly nip the hair in spaces between them.
