PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user-friendly chair preventing a change in a relative position between armrests and a seat even if the seat or a backrest is tilted and, when a user sits thereon with a hand put on the front end of an armrest, preventing the downward turning of the seat.SOLUTION: This chair includes an energizing means which pivots a seat 5 to a lower structure 4 of the chair so as to rotationally turn between a standby position where the seat is backward and upward inclined and a use position where the seat is substantially horizontal, and which energizes the seat 5 to the standby position.
