PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably prevent a needle body temporarily stored in a protector from projecting from the protector again, in the medical needle with the protector, including: the cylindrical protector 4 for storing the needle main body 1 composed of a needle tube 2 and a hub 3 a spring member 6 for energizing the needle body backward with respect to the protector and a lock means 42 for enabling the needle main body to be freely locked to a usage position where the needle tube is projected from the front end of the protector, against energizing force of the spring member.SOLUTION: A stopper 45 is arranged at the rear end of the protector 4, which has an inner diameter being smaller than the outer diameter of a step 32 formed on the front end surface of a tube 5 to be externally fitted and connected to a connection tube 31 at the rear end of the hub 3. The front end of the tube 5 is freely extracted to the rear part of the stopper 45, while elastically deforming the front end and the stopper 45. The lengths of the needle body 1 and the protector 4 are set not to allow the front end of the needle tube 2 to be projected from the front end of the protector in a state where the step 32 is abutted onto the stopper 45 from the rear part.COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT【課題】針管2とハブ3とから成る針本体1を収納可能な筒状のプロテクタ4と、針本体をプロテクタに対し後方に付勢するばね部材6と、針本体を針管がプロテクタの前端から突出する使用位置にばね部材の付勢力に抗して係止自在な係止手段42とを備えるプロテクタ付き医療用針において、一旦プロテクタ内に収納された針本体が再度プロテクタから突出することを確実に防止する。【解決手段】プロテクタ4の後端に、ハブ3の後端の接続管部31に外嵌接続するチューブ5の前端面で形成される段差32の外径より内径が小さなストッパ部45が設けられる。チューブ5の前端部を、該前端部やストッパ部45を弾性変形させつつ、ストッパ部45の後方に引抜き自在とする。ストッパ部45に後方から段差32が当接した状態で針管2の前端がプロテクタの前端から突出しないように、針本体1及びプロテクタ4の長さが設定される。【選択図】図2
