PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing rod reel seat and a fishing rod in which the wiping work of adhesives can be reduced when attached to a rod body.SOLUTION: A fishing rod reel seat includes a cylindrical reel seat body 1 bonded to an outer circumferential surface of a rod body and a decorative pipe 2. The reel seat body 1 is configured such that at least a portion constituting an inner circumferential surface is constituted of resin mold products, and at least an inner circumferential surface 12 of one end among both ends of the reel seat body 1 is formed in a diameter larger than a main inner circumferential surface 11 of the back side. The decorative pipe 2 includes a straight part having an outer circumferential surface 20 of substantially the same diameter as the inner circumferential surface 12 of the end of the reel seat body 1 at least in one end among full length. One end side of the decorative pipe 2 is inserted into the inner circumferential surface 12 of the end of the reel seat body 1, and the other end side is projected from the reel seat body 1 by a predetermined length.
