The present invention relates to a plant extract from the aerial part of a plant of the genus aerva. This plant extract is advantageously from the variety aerva javanica (burm.f.) juss. ex schult, by means of an extraction process comprising a step of contacting said aerial part with at least one extraction solvent, a physiologically acceptable.
