In one aspect, the present invention provides novel derivatives of Δ12-PGJ3 and modular synthetic pathways to obtaining Δ12-PGJ3 and derivatives thereof. In some aspects, the present derivatives of Δ12-PGJ3 are useful as chemotherapeutic agents.
