PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly continue harvesting work by making long culms which is reaped by a reaping device smoothly taken over from a front conveyor to a feed chain.SOLUTION: In the combine harvester, roots of planted grain culms are reaped by the reaping device (4) disposed in the front of a machine body, and the reaped grain culms are conveyed by the front conveyor (12) including a root conveyor (10) and an ear conveyor (11) and taken over to the feed chain (13) of a threshing device (3) to be threshed. The combine harvester has a root guide (18) disposed on a side of the front conveyor (12) and the feed chain (13) for supporting the root side of discharged culms.
