PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for artificially cultivating Ganoderma lucidum using logs (waste logs) of peach tree as a mushroom bed: and to provide a method for utilizing the obtained Ganoderma lucidum.SOLUTION: The method for artificially cultivating Ganoderma lucidum includes using cut logs of peach tree as a mushroom bed to obtain Ganoderma lucidum carpophores through the following steps (1)-(4): (1) a step for heating the cut logs at 100°C or less together with sufficient water (2) a step for putting the cut logs subjected to heat treatment into a heat-resistant bag and sterilizing the logs with heat under the condition enough to wipe out heat-resistant spore bacillus (3) a step for inoculating Ganoderma lucidum spawns to the sterilized logs and (4) culturing the spawn-inoculated logs at 20-25°C for 120-150 days in the darkness.
