A nasal cannula has a single-piece generally U-shaped body defining a pair of nasal prongs extending from a base of the body, the body being deformable in such a way that the nasal prongs clamp against a columella of the patients nose. Each of the nasal prongs include an aperture and a first gas channel in fluid communication with at least one of the apertures. The first gas channel extends from the body though a bent section located about the patients mouth and over the cheek of the patient when the nasal cannula is worn.La présente invention concerne une canule nasale comprenant un corps généralement en forme de U en une pièce définissant une paire de pinces nasales sétendant depuis une base du corps, le corps étant déformable de sorte que les pinces nasales enserrent une columelle du nez du patient. Chacune des pinces nasales comporte une ouverture et un premier canal de gaz en communication fluidique avec au moins lune des ouvertures. Le premier canal de gaz sétend depuis le corps à travers une section incurvée située autour de la bouche du patient et sur la joue du patient lorsque la canule nasale est portée.
