PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary reel for fishing in which transmission means is provided.SOLUTION: A rotary reel for fishing includes a main shaft 202, a crank 201 rotationally driving the main shaft, a spool shaft 204, a cam mechanism 6 for converting the rotational movement of the main shaft 202 into the linear reciprocation operation of the spool shaft 204, a spiral pipe 203, a rotor 3 rotating with the spiral pipe 203, a spool 4 moving with the spool shaft 204, transmission means 5 having an output wheel 10 for rotationally driving the spiral pipe 203, a planetary gear system 30 for connecting the main shaft 202 with the output wheel 10, and a coupler 20.
