Provided is a terminal device used in a software rewriting system for rewriting software for a control device, the terminal device being provided with a storage unit for storing text-format source code for generating binary-format object code that can be executed on the control device. The terminal device: acquires difference source code stored in the storage unit, the difference source code being source code differing with respect to the source code that corresponds to the current object code generates most-recent source code from the acquired difference source code and the source code stored in the storage unit converts the generated most-recent source code into most-recent object code and transmits the converted most-recent object code to the control device.Linvention concerne un dispositif terminal utilisé dans un système de réécriture de logiciel pour réécrire un logiciel dun dispositif de commande, le dispositif terminal étant pourvu dune unité de mémorisation servant à mémoriser un code source au format texte de façon à générer un code objet au format binaire pouvant être exécuté sur le dispositif de commande. Le dispositif terminal : acquiert un code source de différence mémorisé dans lunité de mémorisation, le code source de différence étant un code source qui diffère du code source correspondant au code objet courant génère un code source le plus récent à partir du code source de différence acquis et du code source mémorisé dans lunité de mémorisation convertit le code source le plus récent généré en code objet le plus récent et transmet le code objet le plus récent converti au dispositif de commande.制御装置のソフトウェアを書き換えるソフトウェア書き換えシステムに用いる端末装置は、制御装置で実行可能なバイナリー形式のオブジェクトコードを生成するためのテキスト形式のソースコードを記憶する記憶部を備え、記憶部に記憶された、現行のオブジェクトコードに対応するソースコードに対する差分のソースコードである差分ソースコードを取得し、取得した差分ソースコードおよび記憶部に記憶されたソースコードから最新のソースコードを生成し、生成した最新のソースコードを最新のオブジェクトコードに変換し、変換した最新のオブジェクトコードを制御装置に送信する。
