PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fundus image processing apparatus in which an arteriovenous diameter ratio can objectively be measured while solving a problem of variations due to the measurer's subjectivity and a measuring point.SOLUTION: A fundus image processing apparatus includes: measurement range setting means 20 for setting a range containing the artery and the range containing the vein to a fundus image as a measurement range, respectively; blood flow region specifying means 30 for specifying a blood flow region being a region corresponding to a blood flow from the measurement range; and blood flow width ratio calculation means 40 for setting a reference point in the inside of the blood flow region, searching 2-edge points of the shortest distance from a reference point on the contour of the blood flow region so as to sandwich the reference point, setting 2-reference points in the position moving by only a predetermined distance, respectively, in 2-directions perpendicular to the line segment from the center point of a line segment for connecting the 2-edge points, searching the 2-edge points of the shortest distance on the contour of the blood flow region from each reference point, respectively, calculating a value in the width direction of the blood flow on the basis of finally-searched 4-edge points and the 2-reference points, and calculating a blood flow width ratio based on the value in the width direction of the blood flow about the artery and the vein.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
