PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus by which imaging conditions can easily be edited.SOLUTION: A magnetic resonance imaging apparatus according to an embodiment includes a setting unit, a computing unit, and a display control unit. The setting unit receives an instruction to simulate the change of a value for a given parameter included in the imaging conditions, and sets a simulation value for the parameter for which the instruction is received. The computing unit computes values of other parameters included in the imaging conditions using the simulation value set for the given parameter.
