PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic resonance imaging device which can set a parameter for establishing various kinds of image pickup conditions by a user-friendly copy function quickly, exactly, and without a mistake.SOLUTION: In an embodiment of a magnetic resonance imaging device, the magnetic resonance imaging device which takes a plurality of series of images while changing image pickup conditions for patients for each series comprises a parameter storage unit and a control unit. The parameter storage unit classifies kinds of parameters relating to a part of the plurality of image pickup conditions for taking the images into a plurality of groups and stores parameter values corresponding to the kinds of the parameters on a group basis. The control unit reads, by specifying a first series out of the plurality of series and a group used for the first series, the parameter value that belongs to a first group from the parameter storage unit and sets the parameter value read as a parameter value relating to the part of the plurality of image pickup conditions used for a second series out of the plurality of series.【課題】各種の撮像条件を設定するためのパラメータを、使い勝手の良いコピー機能によって迅速的確かつ誤りなく設定することができる磁気共鳴イメージング装置を提供する。【解決手段】磁気共鳴イメージング装置の実施形態は、撮像条件をシリーズ毎に変えながら複数のシリーズの撮像を行う磁気共鳴イメージング装置において、前記撮像を実行するための複数の撮像条件のうちの一部の撮像条件に関するパラメータ種別を複数のグループに分類し、前記パラメータ種別に対応するパラメータ値をグループ毎に記憶するパラメータ記憶部と、前記複数のシリーズのうちの第１のシリーズと前記第１のシリーズで使用するグループとを指定することによって前記パラメータ値を前記パラメータ記憶部から読み出し、読み出した前記パラメータ値を、第２のシリーズで使用する複数の撮像条件のうちの一部の撮像条件に関するパラメータ値として設定する、制御部と、を備える。【選択図】 図２
