An automatic oral orthodontic bracket locating system and a locating method therefor. The automatic oral orthodontic bracket locating system comprises a computer system (80) for establishing a digital three-dimensional dentofacial model (81), an occlusion recording device (2) for acquiring records of coordinates in the oral cavity and an orthodontic bracket automatic locating device (30) used for adhering an orthodontic bracket (32) for correcting the oral cavity to the tooth surface or the surface of a gypsum dental cast. According to the automatic oral orthodontic bracket locating system, the orthodontic bracket (32) is accurately located on the tooth surface or the surface of the gypsum dental cast of a patient by means of the orthodontic bracket automatic locating device (30) that is connected with the computer system (80) for establishing a digital three-dimensional dentofacial model (81), so the process of manually adhering and fixing the orthodontic bracket (32) to the tooth surface or the surface of the gypsum dental cast by dentists can be replaced, the burden of the dentists is reduced, and the difficulty of the conventional orthodontic process is lowered.
