PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antacid composition retaining a gastric pH in weak acidity and having a long duration of time.SOLUTION: The antacid composition includes a magnesium-based antacid and precipitated calcium carbonate, including neither aluminum nor sodium in the antacid, retaining a gastric pH in weak acidity and having a long duration of time. Thus, the composition gives no anxiety about neurotoxicity of aluminum and overdose of sodium, because of including no aluminum and no sodium.
