1. A veterinary composition for the treatment or prevention of parasitic infestation in an animal, comprising: (a) 1-aryl-5-alkyl or 5-haloalkylpyrazole of formula (IA) or a veterinarily acceptable salt thereof, wherein: R11 is -S (O) R R11 is methyl, ethyl or C1-C6 haloalkyl R2 is halogen R2 is C1-C4 alkyl or haloalkyl R2 is halogen R2 is C4-haloalkyl and m is 0, 1 or 2. (b) a veterinarily acceptable carrier and (c) not necessarily a crystallization inhibitor. A composition for treating or preventing parasitic infestation in an animal comprising at least one 1-arylpyrazole compound in a first veterinarily acceptable carrier, at least one formamidine compound in a second veterinarily acceptable carrier, and optionally at least one inhibitor crystallization, wherein the 1-arylpyrazole compound (s) and the first veterinarily acceptable carrier are both compartmentalized and have no liquid contact with the formamidine compound (s) and the second veterinarily acceptable carrier. The composition according to claim 2, wherein the 1-arylpyrazole compound (s) and the first veterinarily acceptable carrier are in one compartment of the two-chamber container and the formamidine compound (s) and the second veterinarily acceptable carrier are in the second chamber of the dual chamber container, wherein the first chamber is confined to the front wall and and the second chamber is defined by a rear wall and a partition wall. A composition according to claim 2, wherein at least one 1-arylpyrazole compound has the formula (IB): wherein: R 1 is alkyl, CN or halogen R 3 is S (O) R or 4,5-dicyanoimidazol-2-yl or wherein the 1-arylpyrazole compound (s) and the first veterinarily acceptable carrier are in one compartment of the two-compartment container and the formamidine compound (s) and the second veterinarily acceptable carrier are in the second chamber of the dual chamber container, wherein the first chamber is bounded by the front wall and the separation wall and the second chamb
