Purpose: architectural greening, in particular for steep walls. Use in plant raising. Aim: improvement of "elements for greening" to the effect that subsequent plantation or new sowing is possible without problems and the plants can also be removed individually at any time. Moreover, dying plant material is to be collected for forming humus, that is to say self-fertilisation. Solution: materials, manufacturing techniques and mounting possibilities remain essentially unchanged but the earth fillings are not enclosed all the way round but remain accessible from above, it being possible for punchings to be omitted when for example interrupted weld seams guarantee the passing on of water to neighbouring fillings. Special forms are plant pockets hanging together as a web with transport and holding handle, webs with rigid containers to be hung in individually, corrugated plate material, into which rigid containers can be clamped, or plates applied obliquely on pressed-in beads in the corrugated material.
