The present invention relates to a treatment method for the elimination of tuber germs, in particular potatoes, preferably by nebulization of a highly concentrated limonene composition. The invention also relates to tubers treated with limonene, obtainable by the implementation of said method. The invention further provides suitable limonene compositions for the removal of germs by nebulization. The invention is advantageous because it provides a renewable and natural agent for the elimination of germs. The invention allows the elimination of tuber germs for the fresh market, where virtually no pesticide residues are allowed.La présente invention concerne un procédé de traitement pour l'élimination des germes de tubercules, en particulier de pommes de terre, de préférence par nébulisation d'une composition de limonène hautement concentrée. L'invention concerne également les tubercules traités par le limonène, susceptibles d'être obtenus par la mise en œuvre dudit procédé. L'invention fournit en outre des compositions de limonène appropriées pour l'élimination des germes par nébulisation. L'invention est avantageuse car elle fournit un agent renouvelable et naturel destiné à l'élimination des germes. L'invention permet l'élimination des germes de tubercules destinés au marché des produits frais, où pratiquement aucun résidu de pesticides n'est autorisé.
