Modified Factor IX (FIX) polypeptides and uses thereof are provided. Such modified FIX polypeptides include FIXa and other forms of FIX. Among the modified FIX polypeptides provided are those that have altered activities, typically altered procoagulant activity, including increased procoagulant activities.
