A method for purification of viral compositions is provided. In particular, a method for reduction of unwanted residual DNA in a viral composition while retaining the immunogenicity of the virus itself is provided. The resulting immunogenic viral composition is substantially free of residual DNA, and is useful for the manufacture of medical products, such as vaccines designed for human or animal.La présente invention concerne un procédé de purification de compositions virales. En particulier, linvention porte sur un procédé permettant de réduire lADN résiduel indésirable dans une composition virale, tout en conservant limmunogénicité du virus proprement dit. La composition virale immunogène en résultant est sensiblement exempte dADN résiduel, et est utile dans la fabrication de produits médicaux, tels que des vaccins conçus pour un homme ou un animal.
