PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing tablets such as bath agent tablets with high bathing effect, and to provide the tablets.SOLUTION: In a tablet type bath agent prepared by adding an organic acid in an amount of 1/20-1/3 of a granule A to the granule A of sodium bicarbonate as a foaming agent with polyethylene glycol, mixing them, and compression molding them: a tablet is produced by compression molding achieving hardness of ≥15 kg for both diameter direction hardness and Vickers hardness, so that a neutralization reaction occurs efficiently inside the tablet, and bubbles of carbon dioxide with a micro size bubble diameter are generated inside the tablet and the carbon dioxide is produced continuously into water (bath water) for a fixed period.
