PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop and provide a boron satisfaction degree determination marker reflecting a boron satisfied/lacked state in a plant without being influenced by any environmental factor or the like, and to provide a method for determining the boron satisfied/lacked state in the plant by using the boron satisfaction degree determination marker.SOLUTION: A metabolic product which quantitatively varies depending on a boron satisfaction degree in a plant is used as a boron satisfaction degree determination marker.
